Zephyr Offers Attachmate EXTRA!® Macro Conversion Service
Attachmate EXTRA!® Macro Conversion Tool Eases Migration to PASSPORT
A typical Attachmate EXTRA!® customer can easily have hundreds, sometimes thousands, of proprietary macros in use throughout their organization. Given that the macros can greatly increase the productivity of the end user, they represent real value for their owner. Historically this has been an obstacle when trying to replace Attachmate EXTRA!® with another emulator (or even upgrading from one version of EXTRA! to another).
Zephyr Eases the Transition from EXTRA! to PASSPORT
To ease the transition from Attachmate EXTRA!® to PASSPORT, Zephyr created an Attachmate Macro Conversion Tool that automatically converts the proprietary Attachmate macros, developed using EXTRA! Objects, into standard macros for use with PASSPORT. The macros can be converted into PASSPORT macros or standard Visual Basic for more complex macros. Now, hundreds of Attachmate macros can be collected, converted and delivered to Zephyr clients in a manner of days.
The Attachmate EXTRA!® Macro Conversion Tool is not sold, but is offered as a free service for Zephyr clients with 500 or more licensed units under an annual Subscription License.

PASSPORT PC TO HOST® is desktop based terminal emulation software. This product is similar to other desktop Windows programs. PASSPORT is installed with a Windows setup program. It can also be deployed using SMS, MSI, Citrix or Microsoft Terminal Server.
PASSPORT WEB TO HOST® is web based terminal emulation software that is deployed from a web server. The terminal emulation software is installed on a web server and provides an administrator program for centralized configuration and administration. All software and configuration files reside on the web server.
When the terminal emulation software is run, an ActiveX applet is downloaded from the web server to the client desktop and run inside Internet Explorer. The ActiveX 3270 terminal emulator running inside Internet Explorer makes a direct VT/220, VT/100, TN3270, 5250, SCO ANSI or FTP connection to the host system.
