How do I configure PASSPORT Web to Host so that my users can access and edit their own keyboard and attribute settings profiles?
Follow the steps below to allow your users to access and edit their own keyboard and attribute profiles:
Beginning with version 2007-1228, the default path for the saved keyboard & attribute profiles is %MYDOCUMENTS%\Rocket Software\PASSPORT WEB TO HOST. However, the administrator may change this path by selecting Tools®Global Settings and entering a new path.
Prior to version 2007-1228, the default path for the saved keyboard & attribute profiles is C:\Program Files\eClient Local Files\. However, the administrator may use the Path to save local settings field on the Config Lock tab to change this path to accommodate the users' needs.
As of version 2004-930-2, system variables may be used in the path. For example, %USERPROFILE%\eClient Local Files will place the local keyboard and attribute profiles in the eClient Local Files folder located in the current user's Documents and Settings folder.
Users' abilities to access this path and these profiles are limited to their permissions on the network. Please make sure that your users can access this path and have read & write privileges.
