Issue

Is it possible to use system variables for the Path to Save Local Settings in the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator?

Solution

Follow the steps below to utilize this feature:

1. Select Global Settings from the Tools menu.
2. Enter the path in the Path to Save Local Settings field. For example, %USERPROFILE%\Rocket Software will place the local keyboard and attribute profiles in the Rocket Software folder located in the user's Documents and Settings folder.

• Feature added in PASSPORT Web to Host version 2004-930-2

• For PASSPORT Web to Host version 2007-1228 and higher, the default path to save local settings is %MYDOCUMENTS%\Rocket Software\PASSPORT Web to Host 

• For versions prior to PASSPORT Web to Host version 2007-1228, open the session profile for the session you wish to modify and choose the Config Lock tab, then enter the path under the Path to Save Local Settings field. For example, %USERPROFILE%\eClient Local Files will place the local keyboard and attribute profiles in the eClient Local Files folder located in the current user's Documents and Settings folder.
