Cut, Copy and Paste Accelerator Keys

PASSPORT PC to Host, PASSPORT Web to Host

Emulation Types

TN3270, TN5250, VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60

Issue

Why do the Ctrl-C, Ctrl-X & Ctrl-V still function even when I have the Disable Menu Accelerator Keys option enabled?

Solution

Enabling the Disable Menu Accelerator Keys option only disables the Windows functionality. If the current keyboard map has Ctrl-C, Ctrl-X & Ctrl-V mapped as host keys, then these functions will still operate.

To completely disable these functions it is necessary to enable the Disable Menu Accelerator Keys option (from the Options®Miscellaneous menu) as well as edit the keyboard map and Null the host functions.

If you are using PASSPORT Web to Host, Disable Menu Accelerator Keys is enabled and the accelerator keys are mapped to Null but still function, you will need to contact your system administrator to disable menu accelerator keys on the server.
