Replace Cut Text With Nulls or Spaces

Issue
Currently, when I cut a string of text from a host screen, the text to the right of the cursor is shifted to the left. However, I would like to cut the text and have the text to the right remain in its current position. Is there a way to configure PASSPORT to do this?

Solution
Follow the instruction below to configure PASSPORT:
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
- Start a PASSPORT session
- Select Edit from the Options menu:
- Choose the Customize button.
- For the Replace cut text with option choose Nulls or Spaces from the drop-down list:
For PASSPORT Web to Host:
From the Client:
The instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.
From the Administrator:
- Open the Attribute profile that is assigned to the session you want to apply this setting to, or create a new attribute profile by right-clicking on Attributes and selecting New.
- Select Edit from the menu on the left:
- For the Replace cut text with option choose Nulls or Spaces from the drop-down list:
- Click OK to save.
- If this attribute profile is not already assigned to a session, open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
- Select the Options tab.
- Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
- Click OK to save or Connect to test.
