Text Selection as Reverse Video

Issue

Currently, when I select a block of text on the screen, my selection is represented as a dotted rectangle. Is there a way to configure PASSPORT so that my selection is highlighted on the screen?

Solution

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

  1. Start a PASSPORT session.
  2. Choose the Options®Edit menu command.

    Note:
    Prior to PASSPORT 2007 this can be customized under the Edit®Options menu.
  3. Select Customize
  4. Make sure Reverse Video is selected in the Text Selection as drop-down list.
  5. Click OK to save.

For PASSPORT Web to Host:

From the Client:

 

The instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.

 

From the Administrator:

  1. Open the Attribute profile that is assigned to the session you want to apply this setting to, or create a new Attribute profile by right-clicking on Attributes and selecting New
  2. Select Edit from the menu on the left
  3. Make sure Reverse Video is selected in the Text Selection as drop-down list.
  4. Click OK to save.
  5. If this attribute profile is not already assigned to a session, open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
  6. Select the Options tab.
  7. Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
  8. Click OK to save or Connect to test.
