Issue

After using the Switch to PASSPORT Utility to convert our EXTRA keyboard map files for use with PASSPORT, users complain that they cannot use the Shift key in conjunction with the four arrow keys to select text on the screen.

Solution

Rocket Software has released a patch for PASSPORT PC to Host Version 2011-506 to ensure that the default EXTRA keyboard map has these functions mapped.

How to Apply the Patch:

This patch must be applied to version 2011-506 of PASSPORT PC to Host only. If this is not done, unpredictable results may occur.

Copy the all the files to the directory where PASSPORT PC to Host is installed. The default directory is C:\Program Files\PASSPORT\.

More Information

• Without the above patch, these key combinations may be added manually as a workaround using the Select Up , Select Down, Select Left and Select Right host keys.
