Issue

How do I enable/disable word wrap?

Solution

To enable word wrap, please do the following:

1. Toggle on/off the Entry Assist Mode by hitting Ctrl + E.  The word DOC should appear on the OIA line.
2. Toggle on/off Word Wrap Mode by hitting Ctrl + W.  You should see DOC along with WW on the OIA line.
3. Toggle on/off Format Mode by hitting Ctrl + F.  A margin ruler should appear on top of your emulator screen.

You can use the left and right cursor key to move to the desired margin and use the < key (to set the left margin tab) and > key (to set the right margin tab).  Optionally,

you can use the T key to set your tab.

More Information

• Word Wrap Mode is only supported for TN3270 and TN5250 emulation.

• Word Wrap Mode can not be turned on if you're not in Entry Assist Mode.

• Once the Format Mode is toggled on, you have to turn it off before the Word Wrap or Entry Assist Mode can be turned off.

• This feature is not related to and should not be confused with the Block Paste Mode Word Wrap option, which was introduced in PC to Host version 2010-514 and Web to Host version 2010-430.
