PASSPORT PC to Host, PASSPORT Web to Host

Emulation Types

TN3270, TN5250, VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60

Issue

The superscript 3 characters do not display in PASSPORT when using the French keyboard. Alt + 9 is supposed to display it but it is displaying a blank. How can this be resolved?

Solution

PASSPORT 2009 or later has corrected this issue.  Please download the latest version from our web site.

Rocket Software has also released a patch for PASSPORT Web to Host version 2007-1516-1.

Download the Patch

How to Apply the Patch:

This patch must be applied to version 2007-1516-1 of PASSPORT Web to Host.  If this is not done, unpredictable results may occur.

  1. Make sure PASSPORT Web to Host is not running.
  2. Unzip the ZIP file into a directory.

    For Windows IIS installation:

    Copy the Passweb.cab and Ecomes.asp into following directory: C:\Program Files\PASSPORT eClient Admin\Eclient\

For a Java Application Server installation:

FTP or copy the Passweb.cab and Ecomes.asp to the location on the web server where the Passweb.cab file already resides

Note: Please change your session font settings to use the Windows Raster font in order for this to work.
