Issue
How do I configure PASSPORT for Light Pen Emulation support?
Solution
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
- From the Options menu, select Mouse.
- Select the mouse event that you would like to assign light pen support to (normally Left Button-Single Click is used):
- Click the Edit button.
- In the Action menu, select Mouse Function then the Light Pen Emulation feature:
- Click OK to save
For PASSPORT Web to Host:
From the Client:
Instructions are the same as those for PC to Host.
From the Administrator:
- Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
- Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
- Select Mouse
- Select the mouse event that you would like to assign light pen support to (normally Left Button-Single Click is used):
- Click the Edit button.
- In the Action menu, select Mouse Function then the Light Pen Emulation feature:
- Click OK to save your attribute profile.
- Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
- Select the Options tab.
- Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
- Click OK to save or Connect to test.
