Issue
How can I prevent the cursor from moving into protected fields?
Solution
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
- Select TN3270 or TN5250 from the Options menu, depending on the emulation type:
- Enable the checkbox next to Allow Cursor Movement to Unprotected Fields Only
For PASSPORT Web to Host:
From the Client:
Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host
From the Administrator:
- Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
- Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
- Select TN3270 or TN5250 from the left window pane, depending on the emulation type:
- Enable the checkbox next to Allow Cursor Movement to Unprotected Fields Only.
- Click the OK button.
- Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
- Select the Options tab.
- Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
- Click OK to save or Connect to test.
