Vertical Only or Horizontal Only Cursor Ruler

Issue

Currently the Cursor Ruler for my session is a cross-hair. Is it possible to configure the Cursor Ruler as a vertical or horizontal line?
 

Solution

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

1. Start a PASSPORT session.
2. Choose the Options®Cursor menu command.
3. Select either Vertical or Horizontal for the Cursor Ruler.
4. Click OK to save.

For PASSPORT Web to Host:

From the Client:

Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host

From the Administrator:

1. Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
2. Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
3. Choose the Cursor tab.
4. Select either Vertical or Horizontal for the Cursor Ruler.
5. Click OK to save.
6. Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
7. Select the Options tab.
8. Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
9. Click OK to save or Connect to test.

More Information

• The Options®Cursor menu command will only be available on client workstations if the system administrator has granted this permission. If it is unavailable, please contact the administrator.

• Ctrl + Home key combination will toggle on or off the Cursor Ruler.
