How to identify if the SSL option is available in PASSPORT
PASSPORT PC to Host, PASSPORT Web to Host
TN3270, TN5250, VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60
How can I determine if my PASSPORT version has SSL (Secure Socket Layer) support?
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
From your PASSPORT session, click on the Help®About menu and check for the letter S at the end of the version number. For example, 2010-514-S indicates that you have an SSL version.
For PASSPORT Web to Host Client:
From your PASSPORT session, click on the Help®PASSPORT Web to Host Help®About menu and check for the letter S at the end of the version number. For example, 2010-430-S indicates that you have an SSL version.
For PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator:
From the Administrator program, click on Help®PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator Help®About menu and check for the letter S at the end of the version number. For example, 2010-430-S indicates that you have an SSL version.
For VT, SCO ANSI, and WYSE emulation, SSL is available in PASSPORT PC to Host version 2006 or higher and PASSPORT Web to Host version 2004-3722-3 or higher. You must also have SSL enable on the host or use some type of SSL Proxy server in order to establish an SSL connection.
If you don't have an SSL version and need to purchase one, contact Rocket Software Sales to purchase this option.
