Does PASSPORT support TN3270 Non-SNA Command Chaining for Visara Controllers?
Solution
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
- Start a PASSPORT session.
- With your session disconnected, choose the Miscellaneous tab from Communication Setup.
- Enable the TN3270 Non-SNA Command Chaining option.
- Click the Connect button to test.
For PASSPORT Web to Host:
From the Administrator:
- Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
- Locate and open the 3270 Display session profile.
- Choose the Miscellaneous tab.
- Enable the TN3270 Non-SNA Command Chaining option.
- Click the OK button to save or the Connect button to test.

Enable this option only if connecting through a Visara controller or another controller that requires TN3270 Non-SNA command chaining. The Visara controller requires the TN3270 client to do the 3270 command chaining required by Non-SNA Master Console operation. If not connecting through a Visara controller, this option should be disabled. This option is only available for TN3270 sessions.
