VT Screen Display Issues

My VT session is experiencing sporadic screen display issues. The previous screen is still shown after navigating to the next screen. How can this issue be resolved?
The reason why this is occurring is because the host is configured to only accept a specific terminal type, e.g., (VT100, VT220, etc.). If PASSPORT is not configured correctly with the specific terminal type, then you may experience display or connection issues. In order to resolve this issue, please add a specific terminal type in 'telnet device type override' field to correct the problem. (See example below):
