Issue
Is it possible to control the speed at which lines of data scroll across the screen in a VT session?
Solution
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
- Start a PASSPORT session.
- Choose the Options®VT menu command.
- Enable Scroll Speed and set the Lines Per Second (between 1 and 100; 5 is default).
- Un-check the Show Button Text option.
- Click OK to save.
For PASSPORT Web to Host:
From the Client:
Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.
From the Administrator:
- Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
- Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
- Select the VT tab.
- Enable Scroll Speed and set the Lines Per Second (between 1 and 100; 5 is default).
- Click OK to save.
- Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
- Select the Options tab.
- Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
- Click OK to save or Connect to test.
