How can I connect a PASSPORT Web to Host session through my firewall?
PASSPORT Web to Host requires either HTTP (port 80) or HTTPS (port 443) for all web pages and also TELNET (port 23) for communication with the host. These ports must be opened on the firewall to successfully establish a PASSPORT Web to Host session.
If Telnet (port 23) access through the firewall is not permitted, one of the following solutions may be used:
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Windows Terminal Services
Microsoft Internet Security & Acceleration (ISA) Server
firewall, connect, port 80, port 23, port 443, http, telnet
