Dial-Up Networking pops up and prompts me for username and password when I start PASSPORT.
This is caused by a setting in Microsoft Internet Explorer. To fix, do the following:
This type of configuration is recommended for a PC that is normally directly connected to the Internet via a Local Area Network (LAN). With Internet Explorer configured this way, the user will have to establish a dial-up connection manually before launching Internet Explorer or before establishing a remote PASSPORT session.
