Issue

I get the following "Cannot launch PASSPORT Web-to-Host session: java.io.FileNotFoundException: d:\Program Files\PASSPORT eClient Admin\Ecomes.dat!" error message when trying to start a session. What is the cause of this and how can I resolve?

Solution

This message indicates that the PASSPORT eClient Admin folder on the PASSPORT Web to Host server does not have the necessary permissions assigned to the anonymous user (IUSR_ServerName) on the server. The anonymous user must have Full Control permissions on this folder to prevent this error.
