Issue

During the Web to Host installation, I am receiving an error message that says, “Error occurred during the move process-119 ecomes.dll”.  How can I resolve this issue?

Solution

This error typically occurs when the ecomes.dll is still in memory during a re-install.  Try restarting the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.  If you still receive this error after restarting, check to make sure that the Microsoft Virtual Machine is installed.

 

Follow the steps below to restart the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager:

  1. Start the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
  2. Locate the web site where the PASSPORT Web to Host virtual directories reside.
  3. Right-click the web site and select Stop.
  4. Right-click the web site and select Start.
