“Failed creating file” error when using PASSPORT FTP Client

I am getting an error message that says “Failed creating file” when clicking on the Connect button in the FTP Client. How can I resolve this?
This error occurs because the user does not have the WRITE permission to the temporary folder used by the FTP client (the path is located under Communication/Setup->Settings tab). To correct this, the administrator needs to give the user WRITE permission to this folder or change the FTP temporary location to where this user has WRITE access.
