Issue

I have several users that use the PASSPORT FTP Client on the same workstation, but connect to different FTP sites. Is it possible to setup multiple configuration files, so that each user has his/her own?

Solution

PASSPORT FTP Client version 2004-930 and newer provides support for multiple configuration files. Versions prior to this allowed only a single configuration file.

Choose the File®New®Configuration menu command to create a new configuration file or File®Open to open an existing configuration.

More Information

• The FTP Client automatically opens using the default configuration (PASSPORT.ZFT). If you wish to start the FTP Client using a particular configuration, you must open the configuration file directly, or create a shortcut that points to the configuration file.
