Issue

We are using FTP from within PASSPORT PC to Host to transfer a list of files. However, we also require the ability to issue commands before and/or after each file is transferred. Is this possible?

Solution

Rocket Software has released a patch for PASSPORT PC to Host Version 2011-506, which enables a user to add quote commands as part of a file transfer list (see below).

How to Apply the Patch:

Copy all files from the downloaded patch file to the folder where PASSPORT PC to Host is installed and overwrite the existing files. The default location is: C:\Program Files\PASSPORT\.

Note: it is recommended to make copies of the original files before overwriting in case you need to revert back to these for any reason.
