Issue
How can I use IND$FILE file transfer to append data to an existing file on my TSO mainframe operating system?
Solution
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
- Select Transfer from the Options menu:
- Select the desired transfer scheme type and click Customize.
- Select the tab for the appropriate transfer type (CMS, CICS, TSO) and customize the parameters as desired:
For PASSPORT Web to Host:
From the Client:
Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.
From the Administrator:
- Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
- Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
- Select Transfer:
- Under Select Transfer Scheme, select Customize:
- Select the appropriate tab for your host type.
- Edit the parameters as desired.
- Click Save to save your changes.
- Click OK to save your attribute profile.
- Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
- Select the Options tab.
- Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
- Click OK to save or Connect to test.
