Issue

I am attempting to transfer a large dataset from the host to my computer via IND$FILE file transfer. However, the transfer keeps failing and will eventually time out with a "ZE10049 - File transfer aborted. Invalid response from host." error message:

How can this issue be resolved?

Solution

This issue can usually be resolved by changing the File Transfer Method to Presentation Space rather than the default, which is Structured Field:
