Issue
Currently, when I transfer a text file from the host to my workstation, an end of file indicator is Published to the bottom of the text. Is there a way to prevent this?
Solution
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
- Start a PASSPORT session.
- Choose the Options®Transfer menu command.
- Select Customize
- Check the Remove End of File indicator on Receive option.
- Click OK to save.
For PASSPORT Web to Host:
From the Client:
Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.
From the Administrator:
- Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
- Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
- Choose the Transfer tab.
- Select Customize
- Check the Remove End of File indicator on Receive option.
- Click OK to save.
- Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
- Select the Options tab.
- Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
- Click OK to save or Connect to test.

The Options®Transfer menu command will only be available on client workstations if the system administrator has granted this permission. If it is unavailable, please contact the administrator.
