How can I transfer several files to/from my IBM mainframe using IND$FILE Send/Receive file transfer and a macro?

Solution

Follow the steps below to record a macro that will facilitate the transfer of multiple files:

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

1. Start PASSPORT session and log in to the mainframe.
2. Choose the Macro®Record menu command.
3. Perform all desired file transfers using Transfer®Send or Transfer®Receive.
4. Choose the Macro®End Record menu command.
5. Enter a name for the macro.
6. Choose the Macro®Run menu command to run the macro.

For PASSPORT Web to Host:

1. Start PASSPORT session and log in to the mainframe.
2. Choose the Macro®Record®Start menu command.
3. Perform all file transfers to be included using Transfer®Send or Transfer®Receive.
4. Choose the Macro®Record®End menu command.
5. Enter a name for the macro.
6. Choose the Macro®Run menu command to run the macro.
