Issue

How can I specify custom IND$FILE parameters and host commands for file transfer?

Solution

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

  1. Select Transfer from the Options menu.
  2. Under Select Transfer Scheme, choose the Customize button:



  3. Select the appropriate tab for your host type:

  4. Customize the parameters as desired.
  5. Click Save to save your changes.
  6. Click OK to return to your session.

For PASSPORT Web to Host:

From the Client:

 

Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.

 

From the Administrator:

  1. Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
  2. Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
  3. Select Transfer from the left window pane.
  4. Under Select Transfer Scheme, choose the Customize button:



  5. Select the appropriate tab for your host type:

  6. Customize the parameters as desired.
  7. Click Save to save your changes.
  8. Click OK to save your attribute profile.
  9. Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
  10. Select the Options tab.
  11. Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
  12. Click OK to save or Connect to test.
