Issue

I have mapped a recorded macro to the Alt-F key on my custom keyboard. When I choose the Alt-F key combination, the macro runs OK, but the PASSPORT File drop-down menu also displays. Is there a way to prevent this behavior?

Solution

This is a known issue that has been resolved in PASSPORT PC to Host version 2002-621 and applies to all Alt key combinations that invoke a PASSPORT menu.  These include the following:

Help

If you are running an earlier version of PASSPORT, use one of the following to resolve this issue:

  1. Upgrade to the latest version of PASSPORT PC to Host.
  2. Assign the macro to another key combination that does not represent one of the above menu commands.
