Macro Fails With Spell Checking Enabled
PASSPORT PC to Host
TN3270, TN5250, VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60
Currently, when the Spell Checking option is enabled in PASSPORT, running a macro that contains the SendHostKeys command with two or more words separated by spaces, causes the following "An outgoing call cannot be made since the application is dispatching an input-synchronous call." error:
How can this be resolved?
Rocket Software has released a patch for PASSPORT PC to Host Version 2011-506, which resolves this issue.
This patch must be applied to version 2011-506 of PASSPORT PC to Host only. If this is not done, unpredictable results may occur.
How to Apply the Patch:
Copy all the files to the directory where PASSPORT PC to Host is installed. The default directory is: C:\Program Files\PASSPORT\
This issue occurs only with Spell Checking enabled and sending a text string containing the space character. A workaround is to disable Spell Checking during execution of the macro.
