Title

Macros Mapped to Button Bar Not Working After Upgrading

Product

PASSPORT Web to Host

Emulation Types

TN3270, TN5250, VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60

Issue

After upgrading to PASSPORT 2007 from PASSPORT 2004, macros mapped to the button bar no longer work.  How can this be resolved?

Solution

The macros do not work because versions after 2004 use the macro's file extension (.zmc) and adding it to the path when mapping a macro to a button.  In order to correct this problem, you will either have to remap these buttons with version 2007-1516-1, or open the .zat file with a text editor and manually add the .zmc extension to each macro path.

A comparison between the 2004-227 *.zat file with the 2007-1516-1 *.zat file.  Note the difference from the following below:

2004-227

[ButtonBar]

BB1_1=F1,1280,3270dsp/Macros/Prt2file

2007-1516-1

[ButtonBar]

BB1_1=F1,1280,3270dsp/Macros/Prt2file.zmc
