Connection Log Not Working With User Data Folder Set to All Users

Issue

In our environment the user's My Documents folder has been redirected to a network share and the PASSPORT User Data Folder is set to All Users. When the Communication®Connection Log menu command is selected from a PASSPORT session to troubleshoot communication issues, rather than displaying the log an IE windows opens to the user's home page.

Solution

Rocket Software has released a patch for PASSPORT PC to Host Version 2011-506, which resolves this issue.

How to Apply the Patch:

This patch must be applied to version 2011-506 of PASSPORT PC to Host only. If this is not done, unpredictable results may occur.

 

Copy the all the files to the folder where PASSPORT PC to Host is installed. The default folder is C:\Program Files\PASSPORT\.
