On the printer session Status Bar, what does the Status variable indicate and what conditions are associated with Status?
The status of a printer session displays the actual state the printer session is in. There are three status types that can be displayed:

READY |
Connected to an LU and ready to receive commands from the mainframe |

IDLE |
Printer Session established but not connected to an LU |
|
RECEIVE |
Receiving instructions from the mainframe to print a job |
If the printer session Status is IDLE, it may indicate that there is a problem with the session configuration or the configured LU is not available.
