Issue

I get the following "Printer Session Create File Error" message when trying to send a print job to my PASSPORT printer session:

Solution

This problem occurs when the user does not have the correct permissions to create a temporary file in the PASSPORT folder. The logged in user must have at least Read and Write permissions to the folder where PASSPORT is installed.

More Information

• If PASSPORT is installed on Windows XP in a Workgroup environment, the Security tab is not available by default when viewing the properties page of the folder. For information on resolving this, refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
