Title

Printer Orientation Not Saved

Product

PASSPORT PC to Host, PASSPORT Web to Host

Emulation Types

TN3270, TN5250, VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60

Issue

Currently I can change my printer orientation (portrait or landscape) by choosing the File®Print Setup menu command, then clicking the Print... button.  However, this setting is not saved and I have to make this configuration change each time I print. Is there a way to save this information to my PASSPORT configuration?

Solution

This feature has been added in PASSPORT PC to Host version 2004-930 and PASSPORT Web to Host version 2004-227. For versions prior to these, you can create a second printer pointing to the same print device on your PC, and when using PASSPORT select that printer as your default printer.
