Title

Printing With UniPrint Print Server Application

Product

PASSPORT PC to Host, PASSPORT Web to Host

Emulation Types

TN3270, TN5250, VT, SCO ANSI, Wyse 60

Issue

We have UniPrint installed on our Citrix Metaframe server, which allows remote users to print to their locally attached printers without the need for installing drivers for each printer on the server. Although other applications such as Outlook, Word, etc. are able to print to the local printer through UniPrint, PASSPORT prints to a network attached printer in the office.

Solution

This problem is resolved by configuring the PASSPORT session to Use Windows Default Printer. Follow the steps below to configure:

  1. Start a PASSPORT session.
  2. Choose the File®Page Setup menu command.
  3. Make sure the Use Windows Default Printer option is enabled.
  4. Click OK to save.
