How can I start a PASSPORT Web to Host session without displaying the product splash screen?

Solution

PASSPORT Web to Host version 2004-227 and newer allows this. The following parameter must be published to the end of the URL for the session:

+Nologo=1

Example

Below is an example of how a session should be started using this parameter:

http://MyServer/pec/Ecomes.asp?sessionprofile=3270dsp/Sessions/MySession+Nologo=1

More Information

• If you are running an evaluation version of PASSPORT, another splash screen will display to inform you how many days remain in the evaluation period. Once a purchase is made and a new license code is applied to PASSPORT, this screen will no longer display.
