Version 2011-826 (August 26, 2011) Enhancements
- Demo CICS system established for access, so users can more readily review sample applications and test their own customized applications
- Added a new C# .NET Sample Program - This Web server application is updated to access the Demo CICS transactions.
- All sample applications are updated to access the Demo CICS system
- A new AutoGUIHTML method and ScreenID property have been added for the Screen object
- A new application AutoHTML (C# ASP.NET) has been added to allow any browser on any platform to have instant core 3270 access to IBM System z (mainframe) and / or 5250 access to IBM i (AS/400) host applications. Additionally, since these sessions involve no client download and are HTTP based they can be authenticated and encrypted in the same way as any other browser application.

- Documentation now contains C# sample code for all methods,
properties and events. This is in addition to the sample code in C++ and Visual
Basic.
- International version is now available
that includes additional host code pages, keyboard support and character set
support. The US version only includes US host code pages.
- Windows NT, 98 and 95 are no longer supported.
If you are using one of these Windows operating systems you cannot upgrade to this release.

Enhancements
Terminal Control Object
This version contains a new ActiveX component that is a
terminal control. The terminal object provides screen display and keyboard support.
There are two sample programs that use the terminal control.
- Visual Basic Program - Hosts one terminal object connected
to a session object
- Sample HTML Page - Hosts four terminal objects connected
to the same session object
Wait Methods Added
WaitForStr and WaitForNoX methods were added to the Screen
object.

Overview
PASSPORT Host Integration Objects provide a core set of
classes, methods, properties and events that allow software developers using
Microsoft development tools and platforms to programmatically access IBM zSeries
(S/390) and IBM iSeries (AS/400) host information. The objects are used to develop
server and client based ActiveX or .NET host integration applications that utilize
TN3270 and TN5250 host connections.
