About Rocket PASSPORT PC to Host®
The current version of Rocket PASSPORT PC to Host® desktop terminal emulator for Windows offers advanced TN3270E, TN5250E, VT, SCO ANSI and Wyse terminal emulation for Windows 7. In addition to terminal emulation, the multi-host access package includes secure FTP file transfer software.
Rocket PASSPORT PC to Host is widely used as an alternative to other terminal emulators, including terminal emulators from Attachmate® and MicroFocus® (formerly NetManage). HLLAPI, macros, SSL security and other advanced features are found in Rocket PASSPORT terminal emulation for Windows 7. Free macro conversion is offered for customers that license more than 500 units of the Rocket PASSPORT software and a “Switch to Rocket PASSPORT” Utility is available to automatically convert configuration files to the Rocket PASSPORT format.
Rocket PASSPORT PC to Host can be deployed using MSI or other standard publishing tools. The terminal emulation suite can also be hosted on a virtual server from Citrix, Microsoft or VMware, or simply accessed from a Microsoft Windows Server.
About Rocket PASSPORT Web to Host®
The current version of Rocket PASSPORT Web to Host® terminal emulation software offers centralized administration and configuration of the ActiveX TN3270E, TN5250E, VT, SCO ANSI and Wyse clients from any standard web server. The software also includes FTP file transfer. Rocket PASSPORT Web to Host® can be deployed directly from z/OS using Apache/Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, or IBM® WebSphere® Application Server either under USS or Linux. It can also be deployed from Microsoft IIS or any web server that can run Java applications. Like Rocket PASSPORT PC to Host, Rocket PASSPORT Web to Host includes HLLAPI, macros, SSL/SSH security and much more.
