Issue

Clicking the Customize button on the Hotspots tab of the Options dialog box displays the Customize Hotspots dialog box, which allows you to add, remove, or edit hotspot definitions from the current hotspot table.

Solution

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

  1. Start a PASSPORT session.
  2. Choose the Options®Hotspots menu command.
  3. Click the Customize button.
  4. Perform any of the following (repeating as necessary):
    1. To add a custom hotspot, click Add.

    2. To remove a hotspot, select the hotspot you want to remove from the Custom Hotspots box, and then click Delete.

    3. To edit a custom hotspot, select the hotspot you want to edit from the Custom Hotspots box, and then click Edit.

  5. Select or clear any of the PF Key Hotspots options to enable or disable them.
  6. Click OK to save the custom hotspot profile.

For PASSPORT Web to Host:

From the Client:

 

Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.

 

From the Administrator:

  1. Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
  2. Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
  3. Select the Hotspots tab.
  4. Click the Customize button.
  5. Perform any of the following (repeating as necessary):
    1. To add a custom hotspot, click Add.

    2. To remove a hotspot, select the hotspot you want to remove from the Custom Hotspots box, and then click Delete.

    3. To edit a custom hotspot, select the hotspot you want to edit from the Custom Hotspots box, and then click Edit.

  6. Select or clear any of the PF Key Hotspots options to enable or disable them.
  7. Click OK to save the custom hotspot profile.
  8. Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
  9. Select the Options tab.
  10. Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
  11. Click OK to save or Connect to test.
