Issue

After upgrading to PASSPORT 2007, I can no longer see the cursor on the screen.  How can I resolve this issue?

Solution

This could be caused by having the screen background color the same as the cursor color. To change your background or cursor color, follow the steps below:

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

  1. Start a PASSPORT session.
  2. Select Colors from the Options menu.
  3. Select the Customize button to display the Customize Color Scheme dialog box.
  4. Under Category, select either Screen Background or Cursor.
  5. Select the color of your choice under Colors.
  6. Click OK to save the new changes.

For PASSPORT Web to Host:

From the Client:

Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host

From the Administrator:

  1. Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
  2. Edit an existing or create a new Attribute Profile.
  3. Select the Colors tab.
  4. Under Category, select either Screen Background or Cursor.
  5. Select the color of your choice under Colors.
  6. Click OK to save the Attribute Profile.
  7. Open the session profile.
  8. Select the Options tab.
  9. Make sure the Attribute Profile configured above is highlighted then click OK to save or Connect to test.
