Issue

I am able to configure a PASSPORT session and successfully connect to the host. However, some portions of the screen do not display as expected. For example, where I expect to see this:

My PASSPORT session displays:

What could be the cause of this?

Solution

This type of problem is normally caused by the session being configured to connect to the wrong TCP Port on the host. To change the port for the session, follow the steps below:

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

  1. With your PASSPORT session disconnected, select Setup from the Communication menu.

Note: If your session is currently connected, Setup will be grayed out.
  2. On the Connection tab, enter the appropriate TCP Port:

  3. Click Connect to connect the session.

For PASSPORT Web to Host:

From the Administrator:

  1. Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
  2. Open the session you wish to configure.
  3. On the Connection tab, enter the appropriate TCP Port:

  4. Click OK to save or Connect to test.
