Custom Screen Size Support
PASSPORT PC to Host
TN3270
Does PASSPORT support non-standard, custom screen sizes for TN3270 sessions?
PASSPORT PC to Host version 2011-506 and newer now supports custom screen sizes. With this feature, you can now specify rows and columns when Dynamic Screen Size is selected. Follow the instructions below to configure your session to use a custom screen size:
Start a PASSPORT session
Select Disconnect from the Communication menu:
Select Setup from the Communication menu.
Choose Dynamic Screen Size and specify the Row and Columns.
Click Connect.
When Dynamic is selected and custom Rows and Columns are entered, the cursor position may be affected on the host screens. For example, on a host screen that would normally be displayed on a standard Model 2 (24 rows x 80 columns) the cursor position will be different than the example above (27 rows x 132 columns).
For Rows enter an integer between 24 and 125
For Columns enter an integer between 80 and 255
