Issue

How can I change the number of rows or columns that are displayed on the screen?

Solution

PASSPORT supports the following screen sizes:

• Screen sizes for TN3270 (24x80, 32x80, 43x80, 27x132)

• Screen sizes for TN5250 (24x80, 27x132)

• Screen sizes for VT (24x80, 24x132, 32x80, 32x132)

• Screen sizes for SCO ANSI (25x80, 25x132, 38x80, 38x132)

• Screen sizes for Wyse 60 (24x80, 24x132, 25x80, 25x132, 42x80, 42x132, 43x80, 43x132)

Note: custom screen size support for TN3270 is available in PASSPORT PC to Host version 2011-506 and later.

To change the screen size for a session, follow the steps below:

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

1. With your PASSPORT session disconnected, select Setup from the Communication menu. Note: If your session is currently connected, Setup will be grayed out.
2. On the Connection tab, select the desired Screen Size:
   
   
3. Click Connect to connect the session

For PASSPORT Web to Host: 

From the Client:

Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.

From the Administrator:

1. Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
2. Open the session you wish to configure
3. On the Connection tab, select the desired Screen Size:
   
   
4. Click OK to save or Connect to test.
