Solution
The following Exec Query function should be mapped as a text string followed by the return key. Please use the following steps below:
For PASSPORT PC to Host:
- Start a PASSPORT session.
- Select Keyboard from the Options menu.
- Select the Customize button to display the Customize Keyboard Editor dialog box.
- Select the F1 key on the keyboard map.
- Make sure Normal is selected and click the Edit button.
- Choose the Text String Category then type the following:
<ESC>op<RETURN>
- Click OK twice.
- Type a new keyboard map name or select an existing one from the list then click Save.
- Click OK to save.
For PASSPORT Web to Host:
From the Client:
Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.
From the Administrator:
- Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
- Select the Keyboard section for the VT emulation type.
- Open an existing or create a new Keyboard map by right-clicking and choosing New.
- Select the F1 key on the keyboard map.
- Make sure Normal is selected and click the Edit button.
- Choose the Text String Category then type the following:
<ESC>op<RETURN>
- Click OK twice to save.
- Open the session profile.
- Select the Options tab.
- Make sure the keyboard map configured above is highlighted then click OK to save or Connect to test.
