Issue

Is it possible to customize the title of the PASSPORT window?

Solution

For PASSPORT PC to Host:

  1. Start a PASSPORT session.
  2. Choose the Options®Window Title menu command.
  3. Enable any of the following options as needed:

    - Session Short Name (HLLAPI)

    - Enclose Session Short Name in Parentheses

    - Session Long Name (HLLAPI)

    - Session Profile Name can be Short (profile name) or Long (complete URL)

    - Session Name Specific Text (you can put any text you want here)

    - Session Dimensions

    - Separator character can be any specified character and can be enabled or disabled
  4. Click OK to save.

For PASSPORT Web to Host:

From the Client:

 

Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host

 

From the Administrator:

  1. Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
  2. Edit an existing or create a new Attribute profile.
  3. Choose Window Title.
  4. Enable any of the following options as needed:

    - Session Short Name (HLLAPI)

    - Enclose Session Short Name in Parentheses

    - Session Long Name (HLLAPI)

    - Session Profile Name can be Short (profile name) or Long (complete URL)

    - Session Name Specific Text (you can put any text you want here)

    - Session Dimensions

    - Separator character can be any specified character and can be enabled or disabled
  5. Click OK to save.
  6. Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
  7. Select the Options tab.
  8. Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
  9. Click OK to save or Connect to test.
