Issue

While trying to display the contents of an HFS file from the PASSPORT FTP Client, I receive a 550 error from the server.

Solution

An HFS file cannot be accessed directly from MVS and therefore cannot be accessed directly from the FTP Client. To display the contents of the HFS file, you must access it thru the Unix Systems Services mount point that the HFS references.
