Issue

When trying to launch a PASSPORT Web to Host session, I am getting an "HTTP Error 404.3 – Not Found" or “500 – Internal server error”.

Solution

These error messages will occur when PASSPORT Web to Host is set to use an Application Pool with ASP.NET 4.0 or higher. PASSPORT Web to Host currently does not support ASP.NET 4.0 or higher. In order to resolve this issue, you must reconfigure the PASSPORT Web to Host virtual directories to use ASP.NET 2.0 and make sure that the Managed Pipeline Mode is set to Classic.
