Cannot Select File Type with SFTP

Issue

When using PASSPORT FTP Client via SFTP, the choices: Binary, ASCII, and Auto are all grayed out.  How can I specify the file type to be transferred?

Solution

When using SFTP, unlike the FTP protocol, there are no commands to specify whether the file can be downloaded as ASCII or Binary (therefore, these options are grayed out). The SFTP client will display whatever is being sent down from the server.
