Issue

When data is being appended through an IND$FILE Transfer, the data does not line up correctly:

Solution

FOR PASSPORT PC to Host:

  1. Select Transfer from the Options menu:

  2. Under Select Transfer Scheme, select Customize.
  3. Select the appropriate tab for your host type.
  4. Customize the parameters as desired.
  5. For File Options select ASCII, CRLF, and APPEND:

  6. Click Save to save your changes.
  7. Click OK to return to your session.

For PASSPORT Web to Host Client:

Instructions are the same as those for PASSPORT PC to Host.

For PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator:

  1. Start the PASSPORT Web to Host Administrator program.
  2. Edit an existing or create a new Attribute Profile.
  3. Select Transfer:

  4. Under Select Transfer Scheme, select Customize.
  5. Select the appropriate tab for your host type.
  6. Customize the parameters as desired.
  7. For File Options select ASCII, CRLF, and APPEND:

  8. Click Save to save your changes.
  9. Click OK to save your attribute profile.
  10. Open the session profile that you would like to assign this attribute profile to.
  11. Select the Options tab.
  12. Locate and select the attribute profile name from the Attribute Profile list.
  13. Click OK to save or Connect to test.
